Student Membership

Welcome to AOBTA®


Student membership in the AOBTA® is awarded to those who are pursuing a course of study in either a school or program that teaches a Form of Asian Bodywork Therapy.

Student membership is a non-voting, non-professional level of membership.

The first year of membership is free. After the first year, Student membership dues are $25 and renewable annually. 

How to Apply
Step 1

Read the AOBTA® Code of Ethics | Every member is required read and agree to the Code of Ethics when applying for membership.

Step 2

Complete and submit the Student Membership Application at the bottom of this page.

Step 3

Complete and submit the Student Membership Registration Form

After You Complete These Steps...

... the AOBTA® staff will make every effort to finalize your membership within 1 to 2 business days.

You will be contacted once your application has been accepted.

Please read the Code of Ethics before completing this form.

After submitting this form, remember to also complete the Registration Form.

I acknowledge that I am applying for a non-voting, nonprofessional level of membership in the AOBTA®. I agree not to advertise or imply proficiency in Asian Bodywork Therapy or in any of its specific Forms. I agree that I will not use or advertise the AOBTA® name or logo in any manner that may give the impression that I am a professional practitioner of Asian Bodywork Therapy or any of its Forms.

I certify that the information in this application is true and correct. I understand that any false or misleading information will void this application. I attest that I have never been found guilty in any investigation (professional, civil, or criminal) regarding any sexual act, conduct, molestation and/or assault whatsoever. I understand that application for membership in AOBTA® does not guarantee acceptance.
