Supporting the AOBTA®

If you are not a practitioner of Asian Bodywork Therapy but would like to support our organization, we welcome you as a Supporting Member or a Professional Organization Member.

Supporting Member

Acceptance in the AOBTA® as a Supporting Member will be granted to applicants who do not practice ABT, but who support the purposes of this association and who are interested in the development, practice, promotion, teaching, or research related to Asian Bodywork Therapy. Supporting levels are: Jade ($25-$99), Pearl ($100-$499), Silver ($500-$999), and Gold ($1000+).

Supporting members will be kept up-to-date on the latest in the field by receiving AOBTA® national and regional newsletters, and will receive the membership discount for advertising in AOBTA® publications. Membership is renewed annually. To show our appreciation, supporting members will have their names listed in the membership directory and will receive the directory as well as Pulse, our national publication.

Supporting member applicants acknowledge that they are applying for a non-practitioner level of membership with the AOBTA®, and agree to not use or advertise the AOBTA® name or their supporting membership in any manner, shape, or form that would insinuate or imply that they are a practitioner of Asian Bodywork Therapy or any of its forms. Members may not use directory contact information to directly advertise services or products to other members (e.g., direct mail, e-mail).

Professional Organization Member

Any organization shall be eligible for membership if that organization does not practice Asian Bodywork Therapy, but supports the purposes of this association and is interested in the development, practice, promotion, teaching, or research related to Asian Bodywork Therapy.

Professional organization members will be kept up-to-date on the latest in the field by receiving AOBTA® national and regional newsletters, and will receive the membership discount for advertising in AOBTA® publications. Membership is renewed annually. To show our appreciation, professional organization members will have their business advertisement printed in the AOBTA® Membership Directory.
