It is get-away time for me. Luckily, the retreat center I work with has a fall gathering of artists and writers and I was able to get in under the excuse of writing; or maybe it was just past favorable history with the retreat. With some hard work perhaps I will even get to some poetry after all that needs to be written for the AOBTA®. I have been coming to this center for 30 years now, one week every spring, for a music camp I now help run for my teacher. I grew up on this mountain top and respectfully refer to it as MY Mountain. As I sit here looking out through the tree tops and over the valley below, I am struck by how things seem to change so drastically from spring to fall, yet over the 30 years I have been regenerating on this mountain top very little has changed....
